DELAVAN – Delores H. Olson, age 93, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Golden Years Lake Geneva after a short illness. She was born in Racine on October 10, 1930 to Alois and Helen (Jurasiewicz) Bruce. Delores was united in marriage to Richard Olson on April 28, 1951. They raised their 6 children in Delavan. She was a parishioner at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Delores worked for many years at the National Grocery Store and then Citizens Bank. In her retirement years, she lived at Westshire Farms at the Lakes. At Westshire, she enjoyed baking cookies by the dozens for family and friends and she loved playing Bingo.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; daughters, Debbie Seter and Christine Boviall; and siblings Al Bruce and Lorraine Maurer.
Delores is survived by her children; Linda Jansen (Russell), Laurie Adams (Morey), Richard Olson (Jadzia) and Christopher Olson (Susan); sons-in law Miles Seter and John Boviall; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her siblings; Roger Bruce, Brenda Christianson, and Kathy Catalano and many nieces and nephews.
Delores was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2024 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at the church. Interment will take place at St. Andrew's Cemetery immediately following mass. Memorials can be directed to St. Andrew Parish.
