DELAVAN – Edward “Eddy” R. Chapin, age 76, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. He was born on May 5, 1948 in Delavan to Earl and Betsy (Gant) Chapin. Eddy worked at Sta-Rite and Stock Lumber for many years. He loved and was involved with the local racing circuit.
Eddy is survived by his four sisters, Linda Bradley, of CA, Jackie (Robert Carlson) Haeft, of AZ, Cheri Haeft, of Delavan, and Tammy (Andy) Picard, of AZ; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents; and three brother-in-laws, Thomas Haeft, Robert Bradley, and Jerry Haeft.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
