Donald E. Schrack, age 87, of Delavan, Wi., passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at the home of his daughter in Janesville Wi. He was born November 9, 1924 in Freeport Il., the son of Clyde and Rosiland (Woods) Schrack. Donald married Wanda Gleson in June of 1948 and she preceded him in death in June of 2002. He was a career Military Veteran serving as a Master Sargent Green Beret with the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1971. He was a member of The Special Forces Chapter 73, the American Legion Post 329 from Briggville Wi. and the V.F.W from Portage Wi.
He is survived by his daughters; Deborah (Robert) Adney and Colleen (John) Christiansen. His son; David (Kristen) Schrack. 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. 2 sisters and 2 brothers as well as nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded by his parents, wife, Wanda, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday November 16, 2011 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home.
