Josefina R. Salas, age 91 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Sunday November 13, 2011 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, Wi. She was born March 16, 1920 in Woodward Tx., the daughter of Agustin and Isabel (Benavides) Rodriguez. Josefina married Casimiro Salas in Texas in 1942 and he preceded her in death in January 13, 1982. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan.
She is survived by her children; Lydia (Roberto) Quinonez, Alfonso (Rosanne) Salas, Paula (Abel) Ramirez, Ramiro Salas, Rosa (Ramon) Jimenez, Jose (Carol) Salas, Magdalena (Dave) Saum, Casimiro (Kim) Salas, Julian Salas, Isabel (William) Sutton, Manuel Salas, Lina Salas Johanson, Raul (Katie) Salas and Enrique (Alena) Salas. Also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 2 brothers; Alfredo (Juanita) Villarreal and Fidencio (Delia) Villarreal. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Casimiro, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Friday November 18, 2011 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, Wi. with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30am to service time at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva Wi. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan Wi. is assisting the family.
