Donald L. North, age 69 of Delavan, passed away on March 4, 2011 at home with his loving family. He was born in Huron, SD on September 11, 1941 to Marvin and Margie (Herron) North. On Oct. 18, 1963, he was united in marriage to Wilma Clarambeau. Donald proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. He worked for the railroad before settling in Delavan, where he worked at GM for 30 years until retirement. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoyed travelling and spending time with his family.
Donald is survived by his wife, Wilma of Delavan; 3 children: Scott (Kris) of Elkhorn, Roxane of Elkhorn, and Craig (Melissa) of Janesville; and 5 grandchildren: Tanner, McKenna, Alliah, Taylor, and Travis. He is also survived by his mother, Margie, brother, Doug (Pam) of SD, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, with visitation from 12 noon until time of service at the church.
