Donna M. Long, age 76 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Tuesday December 27, 2011 at her home in Delavan. She was born October 3, 1935 in Beloit Wi., the daughter of Raymond and Rena (Engebretson) Lasher. She was a1953 graduate of Beloit High School. Donna married William Long 1960 in Las Vegas and he preceded her in death May 9, 2003. She was employed at A-Jay Industries in Delavan for many years until her retirement. Donna loved to bowl and enjoyed the bowling leagues she belong to.
She is survived by her daughters; Renae (Tom) O'Laughlin, Nina (Greg) Butterfield and Stacy Alexander. Her sons; Steven (Stephanie) Long, Richard Alderman, William Long and Shawn Long. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive her. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William, a son Joseph and 1 son-in-law Jim Torgerson. Her sister Mavis and her brother Vernon.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday December 30, 2011 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Elisa Brandt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time on Friday at the funeral home. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, Wi. is assisting the family.
