DELAVAN – Dorothy Simmons, age 91, of Delavan passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn. She was born in Janesville on May 31, 1934 the daughter of Harold and Lillian (Michelson) Florin. She worked at her family farm before taking job with GM in Janesville for many years.
In May of 1974, she met her future husband during a vacation in Hawaii and returned to Hawaii with Keith Simmons on their honeymoon as they were married at Emerald Grove Congregational Church on May 16, 1975. Keith passed away on March 4, 2020.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Barry (Karla) Simmons, of Rochester, NY; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith; sons, Alan and Keith Jr; and daughters, Betsy and Elizebeth.
Private Family Burial will take place.
