Elizabeth T. Vondrak, age 95, of Delavan, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at her home in Delavan. She was born November 19, 1915 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Sazma) Capek. She married Edward Drake in 1943 and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1973. She was a Sales Person at Utigers Jewelery in Delavan for many years. She was a member at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan. She volunteered at the Delavan Food Pantry at St. Andrews.
She is survived by her 2 daughters; Lillian Rhoades of Delavan and Betty Mae (Albert) Schnurpfeil of MA.; 1 son, Edward (Carla) Vondrak of Delavan; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward and her 2 sisters.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00am, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with Fr. Brian Holbus officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan. Memorials may be made to Delavan Food Pantry. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
