Delavan/ Dr. Ernest L. Burnell, age 78 of Delavan, passed away Sunday December 19, 2010 at his home in Delavan.He was born June 4, 1932 in Camden Arkansas, the son of Astor and Ethel Turner Burnell. Ernest was a graduate of Moorehouse University in Atlanta and Unversiity of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dr. Burnell was a Radiologist for Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn Wi. for over 20 years before his retirement. He was a retired Colonial in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Burnell is survived by 1 daughter, Stephanie (Ricardo) Anderson of Milwaukee and 1 son, Leonard (Michelle Roddy) of Chicago Il.. 1 grandson, Ricardo II of Milwaukee. 1 sister, Mary Goodwin of Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan Wi. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to service time at the funeral home.
