Frank Lasiak, age 85 of Delavan, WI., passed away Friday June 24, 2011 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek WI. He was born August 2, 1925 in Thorp WI., the son of John and Elizabeth Lasiak. Frank married Lorraine (Besner) June 24, 1949 in Milwaukee WI. He was a baker in the Milwaukee area for many years until his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in both WWII and the Korean War. Frank attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Delavan, WI.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine of Delavan, WI. His daughters; Karen (Gary) Miller of Athelstane, WI., Christine (Ray) Oliver of Phoenix AZ. and Kathy (Dennis) Stauber of Waukesha WI. 3 grandchildren; Elizabeth, Heather and Scott. 4 great-grandchildren; Rebekah, Senia, Nathan and Hunter. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 4 brothers.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 28, 2011 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Delavan WI. with Military Honors conducted following the Mass. Fr. Jim Schuerman will be officiating the Mass. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to service time at the church. Memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI. is assisting the family.
