Jean Nieuwenhuis, age 81 of Delavan, Wi. passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. She was born September 18, 1929 in Chicago Il., the daughter of John and Katie (Tibstra) Stalman. Jean married Harold Nieuwenhuis in Evergreen Park Il. on October 12, 1949. She was a home maker and a devoted Christian who did not just talk about her faith, she lived it.
She is survived by her husband Harold of Delavan. Her daughter, Sandra (Dan) Logterman of Delavan. Her sons; Roger (Elaine) of Olathe, Kansas, William (Kathy) of Rimbey, Alberta Canada and Robert (Kelly) of Elkhorn, Wi. 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also, her sister, Marlene (Darald) Uittenbogaard. She is preceded in death by he parents, 1 sister and 1 brother.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Talman Wagenmaker officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, Wi. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan Wi. is assisting the family.
