Gale Minard Headley Jr.

Gale M. Headley Jr., age 86 of Delavan, WI, passed away in Bonita Springs Florida Tuesday July 30, 2013.  He was born September 20, 1926 in Michigan, the son of Gale M. Sr. and Ruth (Jacobson) Headley.  Gale was united in marriage to Beverly Burns on December 3, 1949 in Delavan, WI, and she preceded him in death in 2002.  For many years he was the owner and operator of Mr. G's Taveran in Delavan.  Then was owner and operator of Headley Medical Supply Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Delavan Elks Club, the Moose Lodge and the Delavan Legion Post 95.  Along with his wife, Beverly, he was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  He was a W.W.II veteran serving in the Navy. Gale is survived by his son Rick (Terri) Headley of  Bonita Springs, Fl.  2 nieces; Pat (Duane) Reum of Delavan, WI and Pam (John) Schmidt of N. Augusta, S.C.  10 grandchildren; Ross, Ryan, Stephanie, Joseph, Jenny, Brian, Michelle, Lauren, Rachel and Max.  Great-grandchildren also survive.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly, his 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday August 9, 2013 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, WI, with Deacon Phil Kilkenny officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, WI.  Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.   MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI is assisting the family.  Visit us at monroefh.com
