Leroy H. Huhn, age 93, passed away peacefully at his home in Delavan, WI on July 27, 2013. He was born March 27, 1920 in Chicago, IL. The son of Carl and Gertrude (Wolbing) Huhn. Leroy was the beloved husband of the late Beryl J. (McMurdo) Huhn. He was a graduate of Grant High School, in Fox Lake, IL, a United States Army Veteran of WWII, and a Purple Heart Recipient. Leroy was a member of the American Legion Post #95 in Delavan, WI. He is survived by his children Dorothea J. Sturgeon, Diane L. (Ken) Mirovsky, and Nancy L. (Allen) Miller, his grandchildren James Mirovsky, Tricia Crossley, Allen (Liz) Miller, and Brian Miller, his great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Little, Crystal Little, Connor Crossley, his great-great-granddaughter Elizabeth Little, and his many nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beryl, his parents, Carl and Gertrude, his brothers Charles, Lenard Sr., and Delbert Huhn Sr.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, WI, with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4:00pm until time of service at Monroe Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park, 900 N.
