DELAVAN – Geraldine C. Ziemianin, age 79, of Delavan formerly of Chicago passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born on March 8, 1938 to Anthony and Anna (Moody) Janik in Chicago. Geraldine was united in marriage to Raymond Ziemianin on September 7, 1957 in Chicago.
Geraldine is survived by three children, Steven Ziemianin, of Trevor, WI, Wayne Ziemianin, of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, and Tracy O’Connor, of Delavan; seven grandchildren, Jason Ziemianin, Amy Ziemianin, Sarah Ziemianin, Katie O’Connor, Megan Ziemianin, Tayler Ziemianin, and Patrick O’Connor; ten great grandchildren; and siblings, Charles Janik, Anthony Janik, and Marlene Workman. Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents; and a sister, Lorraine LaVia.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – NOON at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. on Wednesday. Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
