DELAVAN – Gerane “Geri” R. Sikes, age 94, of Delavan passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. She was born in Thorp, WI on August 19, 1929. Geri graduated from Darien High School. She worked for over 30 years at Lakeland Hospital. Geri was united in marriage to Frank Sikes on April 24, 1953. He passed away December 9, 2019. They loved camping together and with family.
Geri is survived by her two sons, Skip (Mary) Sikes, of Sharon, and David Sikes; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Allisa) Sikes, and Michael (Kasee) Sikes; and six great grandchildren, Lauryn, Cole, Ella, Grace, Owen, and Blake.
Geri is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; sister, Rita; and brother, Theodore.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at North Sharon Cemetery in Sharon.
