Gordon L. Madison, age 82 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Friday May 18, 2012 at Mercy-Walworth Medical Center in Lake Geneva Wi. He was born November 25, 1929 in Delavan, the son of Hobert and Ruth (VanMeyer) Madison. Gordon married Joyce Elliott on October 14, 1950 in Delavan. He was employed at the Sta-Rite Corporation in Delavan for many years as a Machine Inspector until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delavan. He had a passion for the outdoors, especially golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Joyce of Delavan. His daughters; Vicki (Don) Gregg of S.C. and Lori (Craig) Deschner of Delavan. 3 grandchildren; Brody (Jen) Gregg, Ryan (Sara) Gregg and Tyler Deschner. 3 great-grandchildren; Ethan Gregg, Camden Gregg and Declan Gregg. Also nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Hobert.
Memorial Services will be 6:00pm Monday May 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Delavan with Rev. Mike Ida officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to service time on Monday at the church.
