Lois E. DeVries, 82, of Delavan, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Golden Years Health Care Center in Walworth, Wi. She was born July 19, 1929 in Sharon, Wi, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Benedict) Andrews. She married Gerrit 'Gary' DeVries on May 12, 1951, in Sharon, Wi. Lois was the owner and operator of the Fashionette clothing store in Delavan for many years and was a member of the Women's Legion Auxiliary in Delavan.
She is survived by her brother Roy (Shirley) Andrews of Delavan, Sisters-in-law; Jeanette Moser of Ca. and Joyce (Don) Martin of Williams Bay; Brother-in-law; Richard (Cathy) DeVries of Il. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gary, February 12, 2009.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Mike Ida officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, Wi.
