DELAVAN – Jose Guadalupe Manriquez Barajas, age 82, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at home in Delavan. He was born in Mexico on February 12, 1939 to Majin and Maria (Barajas) Manriquez. He was united in marriage to Juvelina Aranda on October 1, 1961 in Mexico.
Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Juvelina; children, Maria (Eberardo) Valadez, Jesus Manriquez, Maria (Ramiro) Aranda, Santos (Guadalupe) Manriquez, Guadalupe (Salvador) Sanchez, Jayme Manriquez, Gerardo (Annette) Manriquez, Cristina (Ismael Colin) Manriquez; 32 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and four siblings, Elia (Jose) Torres, Juana (Raul) Mendoza, Jaime (Angelica) Manriquez, and Angel Manriquez.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery.
