Harold W. Stoehr, age 77 of Delavan, recently of Richland Center, passed away Thursday March 1, 2012 at Meriter Hospital in Madison Wi. He was born on June 10, 1934 in Illinois. Harold married Elizabeth Meyer on April 15, 1972 in Beloit Wi. and she preceded him in death on October 1, 1994. He farmed in the area for many years and before his retirement worked in manufacturing in the Delavan area. He was a W.W.II veteran serving with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon (David) Leis of Ham Lake, Mn. His two grandchildren; Alex and Ben Leis both of Ham Lake Mn. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elizabeth.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon Wi. with Full Military Honors.
