Gerald Leslie Goff

Gerald L. Goff, age 89 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Saturday February 18, 2012 at his home in Delavan, Wi. He was born November 2, 1922 in Delavan, the son William and Margaret (Lang) Goff. Jerry married Joanne Cooper in Rockford Il. on September 19, 1959. He was a union carpenter in this area for many years, then started Jerry Goff Tree Service in the Delavan area until his retirement. He attended Community Church of Elkhorn. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was a member of Delavan Legion Post 95, VFW Post 10173 and a member of the DAV.

He is survived by his wife Joanne of Delavan. 3 daughters; Geraldine Marks of Mequen, Kathy Loibl of Delavan and Dottie Goff of Elkhorn. His son Bill (Michelle) Goff of Elkhorn. 6 grandchildren; Brittney, Bethie, Brea, Nolan, Alissa and Kami. 2 step-grandchildren; Evan and Logan. 5 great-grandchildren. 1 brother, John Goff of Beloit and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Gerald Jr., 1 sister Mary and 4 brothers; Kenneth, Bill, James and Joe.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Thursday February 23, 2012 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Robert Peiffer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan with Full Military Honors provided by Legion Post 95.
