Harry O. Du Charme, age 87 of Delavan Wi., passed away Monday April 2, 2012 at his current home in Plymouth Wi. He was born August 30, 1924 in Delavan, the son of Oliver and Eleanore (Hirte) Du Charme. Harry was a Rural Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, working out of the Delavan branch until his retirement. He attended St. Andrew's Catholic church in Delavan. He served with the U.S Navy during W.W.II and then became a member of Delavan Legion Post 95.
Harry is survived by Peggy Du Charme. 2 daughters; Chris Zachariu of Solana Beach, Ca. and Suzette (Dan) Burkart of Plymouth Wi. His son, Michael Du Charme of Williams, Az. 6 grandchildren; Brandon, Justin, Venessa, Lindsey, Ronald and Angela. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Red and 1 son-in-law, Ronnie.
