WILLIAMS BAY – Jack L. Riley, age 90, of Williams Bay passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Sherwood Lodge in Williams Bay. He was born in Berwyn, IL on November 11, 1933 to George and Mary Riley. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for many years in programming and security in the computer industry. Jack was united in marriage to Barbara Carroll in October 1991 in Elmhurst, IL. He was a member of the Janesville Senior Center and enjoyed billiards and baseball, especially the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers.
Jack is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara; five children, Steven Riley, of Glendale Heights, IL, Robert Arp, of Mims, FL, Barbara (Bob) Bailey, of Kenosha, Bridgette (John) Doheny, of Lake Forest, IL, and Brian (Melissa) Arp, of Arvada, CO; ten grandchildren; three (soon to be four) great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Rose.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
Per Jack’s wishes, no services have been planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital or a veteran’s organization of your choice. A huge thank you to the staff and caregivers of Sherwood Lodge Assisted Living and also Mercy Hospice for making his life comfortable at the end.
