DELAVAN – Lucile “Lucy” F. Helm, age 83, of Delavan formerly of Sherwood, AR passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024, at home. She was born in San Francisco, CA on November 10, 1940, to Bruce and Lucile (Henderson) Boynton. A lifetime dedicated to her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Lucy spent 40+ years working in the janitorial field, she loved BINGO, baseball (most especially her beloved San Francisco Giants), murder mysteries, NASCAR, and all things reality TV.
Lucile is survived by her four daughters, Taffy (Edwin) Armstrong, of Delavan, WI, Debra Ann Stoddard, of Hudson, NH, Mary Lou Cathey, of Elkhorn, WI, and Jean Marie (Matt) Stobbe, of Denver, CO; three sons, Richard (Angie) Helm, of La Follette, TN, William (Donna) Helm, of Luray, VA, and William Randolph (Chi) Helm, of Dallas, TX; her sister, Marion Cantaloube, of Marin, CA; her grandchildren, Seth, Preston, Kajva, Connor, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Alexandria, Dakota, David, Allison, Miranda, Rachel, Michael, Mimi, Luis, Salvador, America, Dulce, Megan and Shealyn; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Eliana, Preston, Troy, Clarissa, Adrian, Josh, Junior, Bella, Hailey, Ellie, Elijah, Jeremiah, Jordan, Chelsea and yet to be decided baby girl “squiggles”.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Paul Helm, two granddaughters; Gloria, and Keenyn, her four brothers, and her two sisters.
The family would like to invite anyone who would like to come celebrate her life and her kids (her greatest joy) with them at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, 2891 County Road O South in Delavan on Friday night, March 15, 2024, at 6:00 P.M.
