Jacquelyn (Jackie) Morelock, 72, of Darien, Wisconsin, fell asleep in death on a rainy Sunday, September 22, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.
Jackie was born on December 20, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Lorene and Raymond Sturgeon. She retired from Wisconsin School for the Deaf in 2013, after 27 years. She married James (Jim) Morelock on April 22, 1989.
Jackie loved to spend time in her garden and had a passion for scrapbooking and making cards. Jackie will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Richie Sandstrom and Jessie (Kim) Morelock; daughter, Renee (Scott) Flovin; grandchildren, Marty DePriest, Cheyenne, Wynter, Glen, Genna, and Giulianna Sandstrom, Sawyer and Roland Morelock; 7 great grandchildren, life-long friends Arlene Forner and Judy Walsberg; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Jackie was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Joan and Francis Sturgeon; her brother, Ed (Arlene) Forner; and her grandson, Casey DePriest.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Darien Senior Center, 47 Park Street in Darien.
