DELAVAN – James Edward Kusch Sr., age 72, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. He was born in Chicago on August 5, 1947. Jim was united in marriage to Meredy Kelley. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. Jim worked for many years as a forklift mechanic, retiring from Scott Lift Truck.
Jim is survived by his wife, Meredy; five children, James (Ashley) Kusch Jr., of Sturgeon Bay, WI, David (Cori) Kusch, of Algonquin, IL, Mark (Jennifer Donelson) Johnston, of Twin Lakes, WI, Laurie (Tom Harter) Collins, of Adams-Friendship, WI, and Tom (Laura) Gilbert, of Deerfield, IL; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Leslie Gilbert.
Private Family Services will be held.
