Jess E. Schleiger Jr., age 62 of Elkhorn Wi., formerly of Delavan, Wi., passed away at his home in Elkhorn on Sunday April 7, 2013. He was born February 25, 1951 in Elkhorn, Wi., the son of Jesse and Marcella (Reach) Schleiger. He worked as a cook for many years at the family restaurants located in Delavan, Wi., Lakeland Restaurant and then Jess's Other Place. Recently, he worked at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn Wi. Growing up on Delavan Lake, he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Lynn. 1 sister, Carol (James) Dillner. His niece Tricia (Matt) Fletcher and their children, Michaela and Braelyn and his nephew, Scott (Cheryl) Dillner and their children, Tyler and Addison. Also surviving are his cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Michael.
Memorial Services will be 11:00am Friday April 12, 2013 at the Millard Community Covenant Church in Sugar Creek Township with Rev. Lyle Heinitz officiating.
