ELKHORN – Jody A. Stickney, age 74, of Elkhorn passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at home in Elkhorn. She was born at Lakeland Hospital in Elkhorn on January 6, 1950 to Robert “Red” and Virginia (Sturtevant) York. She graduated from DDHS in 1968. Jody was united in marriage to Larry Stickney in December 1968. She worked at Community Action Inc. for over 33 years, retiring at 62.
Jody is survived by her soulmate of over 50 years, Larry; three children, Sarah (Tim) Boss, Caroline Stickney, and Joel (Mary) Stickney; five grandchildren, Jordan (MacKenzie), Zachary (Bre), Courtney, Eli, and Lauren; four great grandchildren, Braelynn, Grayson, Austin, and Wyatt; sister and brother-in-law John and Robin Hembrook; nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and families.
Jody is preceded in death by her parents.
