John "Jack" E. Mullin

DELAVAN – John “Jack” E. Mullin, age 75, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.  He was born on June 3, 1950 to Edmund and Eileen (Brett) Mullin and he grew up in Oak Park, IL.  Jack worked as a sheet metal worker for 42 years for Local 73 in Chicago.  He was united in marriage to Lynn Freeman in 2008 in Grayslake, IL.  Jack loved golfing, traveling, and classic Rock and Roll.  He even had Cheap Trick play in his backyard.  Jack was known by many people for his amazing memory.    

Jack is survived by his wife, Lynn; two stepchildren, Sarah (Jeff) Coleman, of Arlington Heights, IL, and Ryan Dontsow, of Denver, CO; he was known as Grampa Jack to Abigail, Gavin, Greyson, and Austin; three sisters, Margaret (Stef) Lopata, Marybeth Mullin, and Mary Eileen Mullin; two brothers, Robert (Patty) Mullin, and Patrick Mullin; and was uncle to Caitlin, Colleen, Christopher, Tim, Peter, and Ryan.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents.

Please join us for an open house on May 2nd, 2026 from 11-3 at the Wagon Wheel, 2891 County Road O South in Delavan as we celebrate the wonderful life of John “Jack” Mullin! Jack filled our lives with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. At 1pm we're raising a toast to Jack and gathering to share stories, remember the good times, and honor the incredible person he was.
