John "Jack" Latimer

WALWORTH – John “Jack” Latimer, age 82, of Walworth passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.  He was born in Berwyn, IL on November 7, 1943 to John and Helen (Aderman) Latimer. 

Jack graduated from Morton East High School in 1961 and went on to play football for Coach Frank Kush at Arizona State in Tempe.  He graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1965.  He started his career with Aeronautics in California and after that was self-employed.  Jack was still working at Airtabs for the last 25 years.  He managed to work almost his entire career from home long before that was even a thing.  Jack lived in Newport Beach, CA, Mission Viejo, CA, and Loveland, CO before moving to Walworth, WI in 2017 to be closer to his family. 

Jack is survived by his nephews, Ronald W. (Mary Feit) Haloup, of Delavan, Mark (Maureen) Haloup, of IL, and Donald (Celeste) Hess, of TX; and a niece, Deb (Scott) Martens, of FL.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Delores and Marilyn.
