Jonathan M. Graves, age 53 of Elkhorn, Wi. passed away Monday October 24, 2011 in Rockford Il. He was born December 4, 1958 in Elkhorn, Wi., the son of Howard and Earlene (Carmin) Graves. Jonathan was employed for a time at A.K. Rubber in Elkhorn Wi. He was also an Ordained Minister in Seattle Washington. He enjoyed cooking for friends and family after learning the art while in the service in Korea. He was a U.S. Veteran serving with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son Les (Fiancee- Stacy Morgison) Graves of Bellingham Wa.; 2 sisters, Deborah (Julie Bunce) Graves of Waconda Il and Susan Schmieden of Elkhorn. 5 brothers; Howard (Susan Haase) Graves of Janesville, Michael (Kim) Olsen of Elkhorn, Randy Graves of Janesville, Steve Graves of Genoa City and Edward Olsen of Fl. Nieces and nephews. His mother and Step-father, Earlene and Donald Olsen of Elkhorn. His Step-mother, Shirley Graves of Janesville. Very special friend and Fiancee Georgia Wenger of Rockford. His dog Dutchess also surviving. He is preceded in death by his father Howard and 1 sister.
Funeral Service will be 11:00am Friday October 28, 2011 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan Wi. Visitation will be from 9:30 to service time at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home.
