DARIEN – Joshua “Josh” D. Copeland, age 37, of Darien passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home in Darien after a lengthy illness. He was born in Janesville on August 24, 1979 to Douglas and Nancy (Olsen) Copeland. Josh was raised in the Richmond area and worked for many years as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Josh is survived by his fiancé, Cindy Becker; a daughter, Summer Copeland; his parents; two grandchildren, Jaymison and Adalyn; a sister, Jamie (Kevin Briggs) Herdman; a brother, Harvey (Beth) Copeland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and a niece.
Josh is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marion Miller; and uncles, Dan Olsen and Jim Copeland.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan with a Time of Remembrance at 5:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 7, 2017 with more details to follow.
