Friday, November 9th, 2012Joshua W. Yates, age 38 of Elkhorn, Wi., passed away Friday November 9, 2012 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. He was born August 24, 1974 in Kenosha Wi., the son of Melvin and Cheryl (Boatright) Yates. Joshua was a 1992 graduate of Delavan-Darien High School. He was an Auto Body Mechanic employed at Anderson Auto Body in Clinton Wi. Joshua was an active member of the Sugar Creek 4-H. He was also an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He knew Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was good hearted, a hard worker and friendly to all he met. He was loved by his friends and family. Joshua cherished Dana and his 3 girls.
He is survived by his fiancee, Dana Horak of Elkhorn. His 3 daughters; MiKayla, Olivia and Alaina. His mother and Step-father, Cheryl (Ed) Stephan of Darien. His brother, Jason (Jennifer Wilson) Yates of Darien. His Grandparents, Fred (Dorothy) Boatright. Niece, Natalie Yates and nephew, Nathan Wilson-Yates. Joshua was a loving son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Yates and 1 sister, Dawn Renee Yates.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday November 14, 2012 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi., with Joshua's grandfather, Rev. Fred Boatright officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon Wi. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, Wi. is assisting the family.
