SUGAR CREEK – June Rose Gorecki, age 88, of Sugar Creek passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. She was born in Burlington, WI on June 10, 1926 to Harold and Nora (Grootemat) Hathorn. June was united in marriage to Raymond Gorecki on August 28, 1946 in Burlington. Raymond passed away on January 7, 1980. June loved to cook and bake for her family, whom she loved dearly. June is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Bruce) Church, of Elkhorn; three sons, Gerald (Zoe) Gorecki, of FL, Leland Gorecki, of NC, and Mark (Kathy) Gorecki, of Elkhorn; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Becker, of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews. June is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; three sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Elkhorn. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
