Katherine C. McDonough, age 83 of Avalon, Wi. passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville Wi. She was born June 13, 1928 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Esther (Vjorklund) Johnson. Katherine married Kenneth McDonough in 1952. She was employed at Libby's for many years and was also a home maker. She was a member of Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Avalon. Her sons; Gordon (Alice) of Janesville, Gerald (Sharon Leastman) of Fort Wayne In. and Garry of Avalon. 5 grandchildren; Chrissy, Nikki, Bradley, Melissa and Kaylyn. Also surviving are great-grandchildren. 1 sister; Josephine Edwardson of Skokie Il. 1 niece; Karlyn. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday, July 15, 2011 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church in Sugar Creek Township with Rev. Gerald Petersen officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the church on Friday. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, Wi. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan Wi. is assisting the family.
