Delavan/ Loren E. Banks, age 56 of Delavan, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at his home in Delavan. He was born July 28, 1953 in Elgin, IL, the son of Loren and Barbara (Rieke) Banks. He married Alice Davis on May 16, 1980 in Palatine, IL. He was an independent carrier for the Janesville Gazette covering Richmond and Sharon. He enjoyed Nascar and football and time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Banks of 30 years of Palatine, IL, their combined family included 7 children; Brenda (Paul) Munagian of Rolling Meadows, Karyn (Michael) DeGrave of Virginia Beach, VA., Peter (Kathy) Mazik of Lake Villa, IL, Cheryl Jensen Hettinger formerly of Palatine, IL, Tania Baker residing in IL, Loren III (Jessica) Banks of Delavan and Robert Banks of Palatine, IL; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother.
