Marion "Jim" J. Hager

ELKHORN – Marion “Jim” J. Hager III, age 59, of Elkhorn passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at his home. Jim was born in Elkhorn on November 7, 1955 to Marion and Ellen (Eisentraut) Hager. Jim was united in marriage to Barbara Studnicka in 1983. Together they owned Action Carpet Cleaning in Elkhorn. Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandson Gage, cooking, fishing, playing guitar, and was an avid motorcycle rider. Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara; three children, Stacy Hager, of Astoria, NY, Ryan Hager, of Neenah, WI, and Lindsey Hager, of Elkhorn; a grandchild, Gage Sanita; four siblings, Cheryl Baumeister, of Elkhorn, Randy Vinge, of Elkhorn, Tammy (David) Binstock, of Elkhorn, and Tracy (Paul) Warick, of Burlington; and his loyal dog, Vinny. Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Gitzinger.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home and from NOON until the time of service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Elkhorn.
