Delavan/ Marvin F. Kolb, age 81 of Delavan, passed away Tuesday October 12, 2010 at his home on Delavan Lake. He was born November 23, 1928 in Chicago Il.. Marvin married Arline Bacon in Chicago in 1959 and she preceded him in death May 10, 2003. He was a Pipe Fitter with Local Union 597 in Chicago for 42 years until his retirement. Marvin served during World War II with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by 2 daughters; Diane (Paul) Andreasik of In. and Peggy Gnapp-Brown of Co.. 1 son; Brian (Wendy) Kolb of Il.. 6 grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren are also surviving. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Arline, 2 sons Michael and Larry, 1 brother Melvin, 1 brother in law Conrad and 1 sisiter in law Dianne.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Saturday October 16, 2010 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. Visitation will be from 10am to service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
