Darien/ Florence C. Burrow, age 106 of Darien, Passed away Sunday October 10, 2010 at Williams Bay Care Center in Williams Bay Wi. She was born October 13, 1903 in Allens Grove Wi., the daughter of Charles and Pearl (Hyames) Barth. She attended Darien Schools during her childhood. She was employed at the Colonial Club restaurant and later at Fairbanks Morse. Florence married Everett C. Burrow on December 27, 1952 in Hanover Wi. and he preceded her in death June 19, 1998. Along with her husband, they farmed for several years and then became caretakers for Mac Do girl's camp on Delavan Lake for 13 years. Florence was a member of several organizations in the Darien area and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delavan.
She is survived by a brother, Virgil Barth of Walworth: a niece, Lois (Larry) Damak of Sharon and their two sons Michael of Sharon and Mark (Delores) Damak of California. a nephew, Bob (Rita) Bollinger of Il. and their daughter Brie (Andy) Zapatka of Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett and two sisters, Lois Barth and Dorothy (George) Bollinger.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday October 13, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Delavan with Rev. Mike Ida officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to service time at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Darien Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Delavan.
