Delavan/ Richard Gordon Enstrom, 71 of Delavan, passed away Wednesday October 6, 2010 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. He was born July 11, 1939 in Marinette Wi., the son of Benjamin and Edith (Ellison) Enstrom. Richard married Mary Anglehart almost 50 years ago in Marinette Wi. in 1961. He was employed at the Sta-rite Corporation in Delavan for 37 years until his retirement. He was a long time member of St. Andrews Catholic church in Delavan. Richard loved being with family, enjoying his time in the outdoors doing activities such as camping and golfing. He loved spending time with the grandchildren doing woodworking projects in 'Grandpa's Workshop'. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed going to the Pettit Ice Center in Milwaukee for ice skating.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary of Delavan: 1 daughter, J.J. (Barrett) Kilmer of Madison: 1 son, Krist (Jenny) of North Aurora, Il. 4 grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Wyatt and Wilson. 1 sister, Barbara (Jerry) Hansen of Iowa: 3 brothers, Jerry (Jan), Steve (Sondra) and John (Judy) all of Wisconsin. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents and 1 brother, Glenn.
Memorial Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday October 11, 2010 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan. Visitation will be on Monday from 10 am to time of service at the church.
