Nora H. Reimer, age 92, of Fort Myers, Fl. and formerly of Delavan Wi. passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 under hospice care in Fort Myers Fl. She was born September 18, 1918 in Marathon County Wisconsin, the daughter of Peter and Valina (Ramaker) Huishere. Nora married Harry Reimer in Clinton Wi. on October 1, 1937 and after 70 years of marriage, he passed October 11, 2007. Nora's proudest accomplishment was getting her L.P.N. licence and being able to work at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi.
She is survived by a daughter; Wallie (David) Leitzke of Delavan Wi. and a son; Terry Reimer of The Villages, Fl. 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Rena Hesebeck of Beaver Dam Wi. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers, one being her twin brother and 4 sisters.
Memorial Services will be 12:00pm Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at 910 E. Geneva St. in Delavan, Wi. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time at the church on Wednesday. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, Wi. is assiting the family. visit us at monroefh.com
