DARIEN – Efren D. Mendoza, age 70, of Darien passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Mercy Health System in Janesville. He was born on March 6, 1955 in Illescas Santo Domingo, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to Epimenio and Maria (Diaz) Mendoza. Efren was united in marriage to Maria McGill.
Efren is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Annette Manriquez husband Gerardo, Efren G Mendoza (wife Ana) and Damian A Mendoza; Grandchildren Diego Manriquez, Maxx Manriquez, Matías Mendoza and Evelyn Mendoza, and many nieces and nephews.
Efren is preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 8:30 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at Darien Cemetery.
