Philip H. Schraski

Philip Henry Schraski, Jr., age 82 of Delavan, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. He was born November 6, 1928 in Chicago, Illlinois, the youngest son of Philip Sr. and Harriet (Patke) Schraski, and brother to Elizabeth, Clara, Evelyn (all who have preceded him in death), Mildred, and Florence.

Businessman, father and friend, he lived to explore the beauties of the Midwest with his family and occasionally tickling the ivories of the accordion, his musical passion, with a traditional Polish Polka.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol of Delavan, Wisconsin, and only daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Quiray of Rhode Island. Proud grandfather of Joseph William Quiray IV and affectionate uncle to many of his beloved family who span the states.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wisconsin, with Rev. Mike Ida officating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles, Illinois. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan is assisting the family.
