DARIEN – Phyllis Rae Loback, age 91, of Darien passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at home in Darien. Phyllis was born in White, SD on August 25, 1926 to Annis and Vivian (Jensen) Gleiter. Phyllis was united in marriage Conrad Odin Loback on February 10, 1945. She worked as a maid for 28 years at Lakelawn Lodge in Delavan.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Beverly Treu, of Tomah, WI, Charles (Phyllis) Loback, of Darien, WI, Odin (Lisa) Loback, of Whitewater, WI, and Susan Mikel, of Onalaska, WI; daughter-in-law, Nancy Loback, of Janesville; 42 grandchildren; 98 great grandchildren, and 58 great-great grandchildren and three more on the way; siblings, Patricia (Richard) Teich, of Fairfield Bay, AK, Gus (Shirl) Gleiter, of Florence, AZ, Richard Gleiter, of Eagan, MN, Jeannette Myers, of Knapp, WI, Gerald Gleiter, of Delavan, and Clifford (Eileen) Gleiter, of Florence, AZ; sister-in-laws, Diane Gleiter, of Racine, WI, and Mary Loback, of Menomonie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad; two sons, Larry Loback and Gary Loback; two daughters, Betty Olson and Ardys Klein; four son-in-laws, Gilbert Olson, Wayne Treu, Robert Klein, and Douglas Mikel; three brothers, Don, Darrell, and Jim Gleiter; a sister, Lois Dehnhoff; sister-in-laws, Joyce, June, and Fern Gleiter; and a brother-in-law, Melvin Dehnhoff
Funeral Services will be held at NOON on SATURDAY, February 24, 2018 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 602 W. Main Avenue in Wheeler, WI. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, February 21, 2018 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan and from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at Hay River Cemetery in Wheeler, WI.
