ROCKFORD, IL – Rodolfo “Roddy” Charo, age 52, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at home in Rockford. He was born in Elkhorn on September 20, 1973 to Juan and Belma (Rodriguez) Charo. Rodolfo graduated from DDHS in 1992. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
Roddy is survived by his two daughters, Mia (Reno Lewis) Charo, of Delavan, and Lyric (Michael Lewis) Casillas, of Janesville; two sons, Javon Charo and Rudy Charo, of Delavan; seven grandchildren, Mya, Alicia, Leo, Vinny, Reno, LeiAziah, Khaleesi; his father, Juan Charo, of Delavan; sister, Marta (Ricardo) Vela, of Elkhorn; two brothers, Esteban “Stevie” (Christi) Charo, of TX and Gilbert (Anna) Sandoval, of Delavan; and many nieces and nephews.
Roddy is preceded in death by his mother, Belma; and twin brother, Rolando.
Public Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
