DELAVAN – Ronald V. Logterman, age 72, of Delavan passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville. He was born in Elkhorn on October 2, 1945 to Benjamin and Johanna (Jelgerhuis) Logterman. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage on June 14, 1975 at the Delavan Christian Reformed Church. He worked for many years at Sta-Rite and then Pentair.
Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pat; two sons, Dean (Kim Hess) Logterman, of Janesville, and Jason Logterman, of Sauk City; two grandchildren, Samuel and Ella; a sister, Kay (Gary) Person, of Delavan; a brother, Jack (Nancy) Logterman, of Roscoe, IL; two sister-in-laws, Erin and Maureen Logterman; and many nieces and nephews.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Glen and Benton.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church and an hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial with military honors will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.
