DELAVAN – Ronald R. Yakes, age 54, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at home in Delavan. He was born in Elkhorn on August 9, 1968 to Richard Yakes and Toni Ginner. Ronald was self-employed as an equipment operator for many years.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Kyleigh Yakes, of Elkhorn; a son, Cole (Ashiah) Yakes, of Elkhorn; his father, Richard (Roxanne) Yakes, of Elkhorn; a sister, Roberta “Bobbie” (Allan) Griffin, of Delavan; four brothers, Richard (Jen) Yakes, of Williams Bay, Brian (Marie) Yakes, of Milton, Kurt Powell, of Janesville, and Hector Boissonneault, of Janesville; many nieces and nephews; and his adventure pal, Ivan.
Ronald is preceded in death by his mother, Toni; grandparents, Raymond and June Yakes; sister, Toni Hornsey.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Lions Club Field House, 270 Elkhorn Road in Williams Bay. A Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 P.M.
