ELKHORN – Russell N. Lindholm, age 74, of Elkhorn passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 in Elkhorn. He was born on September 6, 1948 in Mountain Grove, MO to George and Edrie (Galloway) Lindholm. Russ proudly served in the U.S. Army. Russ was united in marriage to Lois Los on April 20, 1974 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church. He worked as a millwright for many years at Trent Tube and Plymouth Tube. Russ also did ground maintenance at Paddock Farm in Elkhorn. Russ enjoyed spending time with his family, cars, mechanics, fishing, and hunting.
Russ is survived by his bride of 49 years, Lois; two daughters, Erica (David) Wise, of Twin Lakes, WI and Edrie Martin, of Elkhorn; three grandchildren, Brayden, Taiten, and Laela (Grandpa’s Princess); a sister, Janet Ladd, of Sparta, MO; brother-in-laws, Harold Los and Melvin Los; sister-in-laws, Sylvia Greenfield, Joyce Los, Janice Los, and Ruth Kravenas; and many nieces and nephews.
Russ is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-laws, Francis Los, Tom Kravenas, and Archie Ladd; and sister-in-laws, Roselynn Los and Carol Los.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Delavan Christian School.
