DELAVAN – Shirley Anne Jansen, age 79, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Mercy Walworth Hospital. She was born in Elkhorn on October 16, 1938 to Edward and Harriet (Dennison) O’Connor. Shirley was united in marriage to Henry Jansen and he passed away on December 7, 1983. She worked at Oaks Manufacturing and EMC in Elkhorn before retiring. Shirley enjoyed camping with her family at Bark River Campground in Jefferson.
Shirley is survived by two sons, Joseph Jansen, of Delavan, and Patrick Jansen, of Delavan; two granddaughters, Stephanie Anne and Patricia Marie; her boyfriend of many years, Leroy Rady, of Delavan; a sister, Patricia Voldness, of Arkansas; a brother, John O’Connor, of Milwaukee; a daughter-in-law, Paulette Washay; and nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
