ELKHORN – Susan E. Reed, age 78, of Elkhorn passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2024 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn. She was born on December 7, 1945 in Marion, IN to Wilfred and Alice (McCoy) Scott. Susan was united in marriage to Jack Reed in Riverside, CA. She enjoyed gardening and golfing at Delbrook. Susan was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and Nana. She was adored by her grandchildren who have wonderful memories of the sleepovers at Nana’s house.
Susan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack; two daughters, Brenda (Larry) Reader, of Delavan, and Kim (Jeff) Holub, of Janesville; four grandchildren, Mandie (Jon) Loehe, of Evansville, WI, Stacey (Travis) Hudson, of Cabot, AR, Stephanie (Alan) McMurrary, of Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD, and Chad (Tracy) Holub, of Peyton, CO; eight great grandchildren, Adriana, Max, Jack, Allison, Peyton, Emilyn, Lucas, and Archer; and a sister, Shelley (Kevin) Moen, of Las Vegas.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
