DARIEN – Virginia J. Erckfritz, age 91, of Darien passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at home in Darien. She was born in on September 26, 1932 to Ira and Margaret (Storck) Wilday. Virginia was united in marriage to Russell Erckfritz on November 15, 1952 in Darien. She attended Triune Lutheran in Darien for many years.
Virginia is survived by her three daughters, Jean (Dale) Millard, of Darien, Sandy (Don) Edmunds, of Delavan, and Susie Erckfritz, of Darien; two grandchildren, Krista Edmunds, and Trisha Pellmann; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Ethan, and Sienna.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; and two sisters, Char and Arlene.
Graveside Services will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Darien Cemetery.
